AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We are International Aroid Plant Society, Inc., doing business as International Aroid Society ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Florida, United States at 15735 SW 87TH CT, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.

We operate the website http://aroid.org (the "Site"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and International Aroid Plant Society, Inc., concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

We will provide you with prior notice of any scheduled changes to the Services you are using. The modified Legal Terms will become effective upon posting or notifying you by membership@aroid.org, as stated in the email message. By continuing to use the Services after the effective date of any changes, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the Services. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to these Legal Terms prior to you using the Services.

We recommend that you print a copy of these Legal Terms for your records.

Event Terms and Conditions


By purchasing a ticket and attending the IAS Tropical Plant Expo, you agree to the following:


Admission and Conduct
The International Aroid Society reserves the right to deny entry to or remove any individual from the event at its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: disruptive behavior; harassment or intimidation; verbal or physical aggression; unauthorized commercial activity; misuse of images or intellectual property; failure to follow event rules or staff instructions; and any illegal or unsafe activity. This includes prior conduct, whether at IAS events or elsewhere, that IAS determines to be harmful to its members, volunteers, vendors, or attendees. All attendees must comply with event policies and directions from IAS staff and volunteers.


No Refunds
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued, including in cases of denied entry, removal from the event, or event modification or cancellation.


Assumption of Risk and Liability
By attending, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage. The International Aroid Society shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained while attending the event, except as required by applicable law.


Personal Property
Attendees are solely responsible for their personal property. The International Aroid Society is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.


Third-Party Vendors
The event may include independent vendors. The International Aroid Society is not responsible for any products, services, or transactions between attendees and vendors.


Event Changes
The International Aroid Society reserves the right to modify event programming, hours, or layout, or to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its control.


Media Release
Your entry and presence at the event constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the use of your likeness, voice, and name in any media for any lawful purpose related to IAS.


Relationship to IAS Terms
These Event Terms and Conditions are incorporated into and form part of the International Aroid Society’s general Terms and Conditions governing use of its services. In the event of any conflict between these Event Terms and the general Terms, these Event Terms shall control with respect to event participation.
