Bau is a genus of 26 terrestrial herb species in the Araceae family, first described in 2024 by S.Y. Wong & P.C. Boyce. These understory plants occur from Peninsular Thailand through western and central Malesia, including Borneo, Malaya, Sulawesi and Sumatra and are characterized by simple, pinnate-veined leaves and solitary spadix inflorescences subtended by a campanulate spathe.
