Hestia is a monotypic genus in the Araceae family, described in 2010 and placed within the tribe Schismatoglottideae, represented solely by Hestia longifolia. This species is endemic to lowland rainforests on raised podsol soils in Perak (Peninsular Malaysia), Sarawak and Brunei, and is notable for its slender wiry peduncles bearing numerous nodding inflorescences.
