Incarum: Monotypic Andean Aroid

Incarum is a monotypic genus in the Araceae family, comprising only Incarum pavonii and native to the Andean regions of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. A tuberous geophyte, it bears solitary pinnatifid leaves and produces its inflorescences before leaf emergence, distinguishing it within the tribe Spathicarpeae.
