Pseudohydrosme: Africa’s Elusive Rainforest Tubers

Pseudohydrosme is a genus of tuberous geophytes in the Araceae family, comprising three species native to the rainforests of Gabon and Cameroon's Ebo region. Closely related to Anchomanes, these rare aroids stand out for their concealed peduncles, multi-locular ovaries, and viviparous roots.
