Pycnospatha: Rare Tuberous Gems of Indochina

Pycnospatha is a genus of flowering plants in the Araceae family, comprising two tuberous species endemic to Indochina. Known for their compact underground tubers and distinctive spathes, these herbs occur in seasonal forests across Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
