Spiral Spathes of Urospatha

Urospatha is a genus of flowering plants in the Araceae family comprising about 11 species native to swampy and brackish wetlands of Central and South America. Members are characterized by upward-pointing sagittate leaves and elongated mottled spathes that twist spirally, with cork-like seeds that float for water dispersal.
