Vietnamocasia: Vietnam’s Monotypic Aroid Marvel

Vietnamocasia is a monotypic genus in the Alocasia-Colocasia clade of Araceae, represented solely by Vietnamocasia dauae. It is endemic to Central Vietnam and distinguished by free individual staminate flowers, lack of expanded synconnectives, and nodding inflorescences.
