Zomicarpella: Amazon Arrowleaf Aroids

Zomicarpella is a small genus of rhizomatous flowering plants in the arum family native to Colombia, Peru and northern Brazil. Characterized by hastate to sagittate leaves and a chromosome count of 2n=26, these forest‑floor geophytes form a distinct lineage within the tribe Zomicarpeae.
