Dracontium: Dragonwort Aroids of the Americas

Dracontium is a small genus of tuberous flowering plants in the Araceae family native from southern Mexico through Central and South America and the West Indies. These aroids feature round, caudexlike tubers that swell and smooth at flowering and bear compact unisexual inflorescences, setting them apart from their Amorphophallus relatives.
