Pothoidium: Monotypic Climber of Malesia
Pothoidium is a monotypic genus in the Araceae family, represented by the single species Pothoidium lobbianum. This woody‐stemmed climber bears distichous, triangular‐lanceolate leaves on flattened petioles and is notable for its functionally dioecious inflorescences. It is native to Taiwan, the Philippines, Sulawesi and the Maluku Islands, extending across the Malesian region.
