Schottarum: Borneo’s Streamside Aroids

Schottarum is a small genus of rheophytic Araceae endemic to the fast-flowing streams of Borneo, first described by P.C. Boyce and S.Y. Wong in 2008. The two known species honor Austrian botanist Heinrich Wilhelm Schott and exhibit specialized adaptations for life on rocks in swift currents.
