Scindapsus: Elegant Tropical Climbers

Scindapsus is a genus of flowering plants in the Araceae family comprised of root-climbing vines native to Southeast Asia, New Guinea, Queensland, and several western Pacific islands. Species in this genus produce a single ovule per ovary, leading to rounded to slightly kidney-shaped seeds, and are favored in cultivation for their decorative foliage and adaptability as indoor and outdoor climbers.
